AXA Health Insurance (AXA Konzern AG, Cologne) offers its group health insurance in two budget tiers— FlexMed easy Plus and FlexMed easy Premium —as well as an exclusive executive plan, FlexMed Privat Premium.
The new premium budget plan, FlexMed easy Premium (available since September 2025), stands out in the market: Its unique selling point is 100% coverage of outpatient psychotherapy within the health budget. In addition, the plan offers vision aids up to €450 per year, comprehensive dental coverage, a daily hospital allowance of €10 (for up to 28 days), and round-the-clock digital services—including an online doctor, specialist appointment scheduling, a health hotline, and second opinions, also available to family members.
There are five coverage levels to choose from, ranging from €300 to €1,500. Coverage is available for companies with 5 or more employees, with no medical exam or waiting period required, and pre-existing conditions are covered. AXA guarantees stable premiums through January 1, 2027. Plans start at around €13 per month.
For executives and high-performing employees, FlexMed Privat Premium offers a reimbursement plan with private patient status (100% outpatient coverage, psychotherapy up to 30 sessions per year, medical devices and aids up to €500 per year, shared or private rooms, and free choice of hospital), available for companies with 10 or more employees starting at around €193 per person.
