DKV Deutsche Krankenversicherung (Cologne) is part of the ERGO Group within the Munich Re Group and is the market leader in group health insurance for employers, with over 60 years of experience. In the area of group health insurance, the focus is on the BonusMed Budget plan—with tiers of €300, €600, €900, or €1,200, available for companies with 10 or more employees and starting at €15.68 per month (including premium waivers during periods of unpaid leave).
The health budget can be used flexibly: for alternative medicine provided by doctors or naturopaths (methods listed in the Hufeland Directory/GebüH), dental prophylaxis, vision aids, preventive medical checkups, and prevention courses (100% coverage under Section 20 of SGB V), as well as medications, bandages, and medical devices and aids, including hearing aids. Insurance coverage also applies abroad (EU/EEA and Switzerland) during temporary stays.
Coverage is provided without a medical exam or waiting period; pre-existing conditions and ongoing treatments are included. A continuation clause allows you to continue your private coverage without a new medical exam if you retire or change employers. The plan can be supplemented with four compact modules and over 20 individual modules.
