SDK Süddeutsche Krankenversicherung (Fellbach) operates in the occupational health insurance sector under the brand name SDK Gesundwerker and is one of the pioneers of occupational health insurance. At the heart of its offerings are two budget plans that can be freely combined: AmbulantBudget and ZahnBudget —each available in tiers of €500, €1,000, and €1,500 per year, which can be selected independently of one another.
The AmbulantBudget covers, up to the budget limit, 100% of the costs for naturopathic treatments (provided by doctors and naturopaths), vision aids (up to €200 every two years), refractive surgery (laser eye surgery), preventive care and prevention courses, medications, therapeutic aids, and vaccinations, among other things. The DentalBudget covers 100% of the costs for high-quality dental restorations (implants, crowns, bridges), fillings and inlays, dental treatment, professional teeth cleaning, orthodontics, and pain management—without requiring a treatment plan or cost estimate.
ServicePLUS benefits are always included in all Budget plans: health counseling by phone and chat, specialist appointment scheduling, and virtual doctor visits via app and video chat. Coverage takes effect immediately, is available for companies with 5 or more employees (employer-sponsored, with an 80% contribution rate or higher), and includes pre-existing conditions. Optional health packages can be added.
